“I’m not going,” said Tim.
“Yes you are!” shouted Lynda.
“No, I’m not!” replied Tim crossly. When they had some how got Tim to agree to go, they started climbing up the hill. When they reached the top, Jack and Tim tied the bucket to the rope on the well and lowered it in. Tim leaned over too far and fell into the well. The bucket swayed and hit Jack and sent him rolling down the hill and Jill went tumbling after him. Tim cracked his head. So did Jack, but luckily his mum had bandages in case that ever happened. When Jack came out of the house with bandages all over his head, he saw Jill and Lynda going down the well.
“Wait!” Jack yelled as they were tying themselves to the rope.
“I want to come too!” he yelled. So he did. “What are we doing down here?” asked Jack. “We’re looking for Tim,” said Lynda. Then Jill yelled,
“Over here, I’ve found a tunnel!” As they were walking, Lynda heard a noise. She said,
“It sounded like a zombie chicken!” Then Tim came out of the darkness with lots of moon cheese.
“That explains it all! He sounded like a zombie chicken because of all the moon cheese on his back (that’s the zombie bit). As for the chicken bit, he just does that.” So they climbed the rope to get back to Jack and Jill’s house. When they got to the house, they gave the water to their mum and went to Jack and Jill’s room. Tim said,
“When I got cracked on the head, I had a dream. It was about how to make a potion!”
“What did the potion do?” asked Jack.
“It made people smarter!” said Tim.
“Do you remember how to make it?” asked Jill.
“Yes, I think I can,” replied Tim. They found all the ingredients and mixed them together. Then they heated the mixture. When it had finished boiling it was bubbling, smoking and sizzling, then it was ready! Before they could stop him, Tim was gulping the whole thing down!
“What’s happening?” he shrieked. But it was too late. His head blew up like a balloon. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men came and tried to help Tim but they couldn’t so Tim and Lynda had to stay with Jack and Jill for the rest of their lives.
