“Tim, look a mother duck sitting on ten eggs!” said Lynda. Tim said to the mother duck,
“Do you have any cheese?”
“What? Do you think ducks eat cheese?” Suddenly, one of the eggs started to crack.
“Yay! One of my eggs is hatching!”
“Crack, crack, crack!”
The duckling said,
“Hi!”
The mother duck said,
“Hi, I am your mother!”
Then the duckling said,
“Let’s go to the lake.”
The mother duck replied,
“Sorry, but I have these other nine eggs to keep warm.”
So the duckling asked Tim and Lynda,
“Will you take me down to the lake?
Do Lynda and Tim take the duckling to the lake or not?
